Towards a sustainable and circular support eco- system for touring is the main conclusion from the reflection paper I worked out for the Canada Council for the Arts | Conseil des arts du Canada. This paper includes the recommendation for a comprehensive view on touring activities based on the four dimensions of sustainability as well as just transition. The proposed approach comprises the greening of pre-production, (co-)production, local/international touring, and post-production as well as re-use. The analysis is based on experiences and good practices from EU/rope.
