What an intense and enriching exchange with creative industries stakeholders in the Democratic Republic of Congo during November 2024! It was just great to reconnect so intensively with my previous engagements for strategic development of the cultural and creative industries which I liked very much also when I was chairing the expert group on CCS innovation and entrepreneurship (OMC) of the European Union. A real pleasure to also discuss future options with young Congolese entrepreneurs like from Bonobo Studios in Kinshasa. I recommend to have a look at their creative work – also related to new narratives of history and education. It also seems that there was already considerable interest in the games they have developed from high-level decision-makers.
